In the mountain that bears his name inhabit the Tarahumara , or rarámuris "men of the winged feet " as they call themselves This prodigious mountain produces in the visitor an impression that can hardly forget . Huge mountains , steep cliffs , gorges and deep ravines that extend to infinity. the most amazing thing , however , it is that since ancient times its former inhabitants are and live as before, as always . they form the Tarahumara an unusual group of people, since the sixteenth century Westerners there appeared and now know them know they are something extraordinary.
